While known as George O'Brien's frequent leading lady, her non-western screen appearances included King of Alcatraz, The Big Broadcast of 1938, Blonde Comet and Broadway Big Shot. She retired from the acting profession in 1945 and subsequently worked for Lockheed for over thirty years and in her spare time was an ice skating judge.
