ALLEN. In Spirit Lake, Iowa, March 13th 1890, Ella B. Allen, aged 21 years, 10 months, 15 days.
Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Byerly, and leaves besides the parents, three brothers and four sisters to mourn their loss, her two children being too young to appreciate the deep bereavement. Her long years of suffering were endured with Christian fortitude, no murmur ever being uttered. "The memory of the just is blessed." The funeral services were held from the parents residence one mile northwest of town, Saturday afternoon March 15, at 1:00 p.m., Rev. W. D. Cole officiating, and the tired body was laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery.
