Fike was born in Clay county and was a lifetime resident of the community. He graduated from Fairfield high school and farmed for a time before joining the staff of the Production Credit Association in the early 1930's and serving is a director as well as an employee.
Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Glenvil Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Fred H. Schwerin officiating and burial was in the Glenvil cemetery. The McLaughlin Funeral Home was in charge.
He was a member and served as secretary of the Fairfield Community Service Club.
He leaves his wife, Marie, sons. Marion Jr. of Hastings, Marlyn of Glenvil, two grandchildren and his brother, Ralph of Fairfield.
