ELIZABETHTON — Daniel Eric Adams, 14, Elizabethton, went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on July 28, 2010, and was immediately in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
He was the son of Larry and Tina Carter Adams, of Elizabethton. He was born in Washington County, but lived most of his life in Carter County.
Daniel was a member of the Lynn Valley Baptist Church, where he was a part of the youth group. He was soon to be a freshman at Elizabethton High School. He loved football, history, guns, four-wheeling and had taken an interest in golf.
The Celebration of Life Service for Daniel will be conducted on Friday, July 30, 2010, at 8:00 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with Rev. Dennis Wilson and Rev. Rick Wagner officiating.
The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday prior to the service and at the residence at other times.
The graveside service and interment will be conducted on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be the Youth of Lynn Valley Baptist Church and his 9th grade classmates. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15 AM Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Lynn Valley Baptist Church Youth Ministry, 1367 Broad Street, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
