Mrs. Susan Etheridge Ballance, aged 65, widow of Allen Balance, died at her residence, 835 Reservoir avenue, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. She is survived by four daughters, Miss Susie Ballance, Mrs. Margaret Frias and Mrs. Lovie Magruder, all of Norfolk, and Mrs. C.E. Jennings, of South Norfolk; two sons, W.R. and S.A. Ballance, both of Norfolk; a sister, Miss Emma Etheridge, of Norfolk, and three grandchildren. Mrs. Ballance was a native of Shawboro, N.C., and had been a resident of Norfolk 25 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
