Carol Sue Runyon (Burns)
HEPHZIBAH, Ga. -- Carol Sue Runyon (Burns) entered into eternal rest Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009. She was 68.
She lived in High Bridge and Clinton for many years until moving away in the mid-1970s, first living in Colorado and later Georgia.
She served in the Army for seven years. She worked as a cook much of her life, in the Army, in school cafeterias and in mess halls.
Her father, Howard Taft Cawley, died earlier.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Cawley of Flemington; daughters Nancy Cox and Jennifer Runyon of Augusta, Ga.; a son and daughter-in-law; Jeffrey and Paula Runyon of Martinez, Ga.; and six grandchildren, Amber and Charna Cox of Texas, Jessica and Rebecca Runyon of Georgia and Logan and Cameron Runyon of Georgia. She was loved and will be missed.
A memorial service was held Feb. 25 at the High Bridge Reformed Church.
