Obit -- Thurs, July 8th, 1937. - Christian K. Molgard, 73, a resident of Tacoma for 48 years died Thursday at his home, 4321 No 13th St. He was born in Denmark & was a member of the Danish Brotherhood.
Surviving are his wife Dagmar (2nd wife); 3 daughters, Mrs Marie Carlson & Mrs. Edna Radonich on Tacoma and Mrs Carrie McKee of High Point NC.; a son, Howard, of Port Angeles, & 5 grandchildren.
Chris was born in Skive, Viborg, Denmark to Marie Madsen Molgaard and came to the United State in 1888 under the name of Christian Frederick Kyle. After arriving, he changed his last name to his mother's maiden name [Molgaard]. He married Mine [Minnie] Marie Jensen April 27, 1895 in Tacoma, Washington.
