NEW CASTLE - Funeral services for Ed Abbott, 79 years old, who died Sunday, Oct. 21, 1956, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Mooreland Friends church. Mr. Abbott lived near Mooreland. He was ill a long time. Burial will be in the Chicago Corner cemetery.
Mr. Abbott, a native of near Hagerstown, had lived in the Mooreland vicinity for the last 50 years. He was a member of the Friends church there.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Nellie Abbott; three daughters, Mrs. Loring McCullough (Esther) of Cambridge City, Mrs. Robert Boyer (Edna) of Anderson and Mrs. Floyd Robbins (Bertha May) of Anderson; two sons, Wilbur and Henry of near Mooreland, and three sisters, Mrs. Vincent Inco (Leatha) of Cambridge City, Mrs. Harry Moschel (Flora) of Dublin and Mrs. Minnie Keever of Anderson.
Friends may call at the Main and Son funeral home in Mooreland.
