Mrs. Caroline Burks, 73 years old, died Saturday afternoon at the home of her brother, Win Percifield corner of 12th and Alexander streets. There are also two other sons, Wayne Thomas, of Bloomington, and Charles, of Indianapolis, and a daughter Mrs. Mildred Hammond of Martinsville. Also three sisters, Mrs. George Croddy, Franklin; Mrs. Samuel Brown, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Amanda Brummett, Lafayette.
Funeral services were held at the Weir funeral home at 10 a.m., today and interment was in Rosehill cemetery.
