Billy C. Crook, 64, resident of Jackson, formerly of Vaiden, died of cancer Tuesday, May 16, 1995, at Methodist Medical Center in Jackson.

Mr. Crook was a salesman for Lampton Love Gas Company where he had been employed for 10 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Clinton, member of Shady Oaks, and a member of Eagle Club.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 18 at Lakewood Chapel in Jackson. Graveside services were held at 2:30 that afternoon at Vaiden Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Delores Crook; two sons, Willie Crook of Columbus, Walter Crook of Jackson; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Crook of Jackson: and his mother, Mrs. Mary Maude Crook of Vaiden.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Stained Glass Window Fund, 100 Mt. Sallis, Clinton, MS 39056.

Oliver Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
