ALLIN
Saturday morning at six o'clock death claimed Mrs. Mantie Allin after an illness of five months at the A. D. Price Memorial Hospital. She was well known and well liked in this community where she had always made her home and when her health broke down from a complication of diseases she was taken to the hospital where she lingered, and some days before the end lapsed into unconsciousness. She was formerly Mrs. Mantie Irvine, of this county and was 75 years of age, the last member of her immediate family to survive. After her death the remains were taken to the home of her niece, Mrs. Bush W. Allin, and Mr. Allin. She was a devout member of the Presbyterian church, and her funeral was held there Sunday afternoon, conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. J. Rice, and the interment was in the family lot at Providence cemetery. Mrs. Allin is survived by two daughters-in-law, Mrs. W. I. Allin, of this city, and Mrs. Sallie Allin of Lawrenceburg. Miss Jessie Allin, also of Lawrenceburg is her granddaughter. A number of nephews and nieces also survive her.
