She will be remembered by many local people as a clerk at G.C. Murphy's dime store in downtown Charlotte until her retirement in 1981.
She was a fan of making arts and crafts, demonstrating her abilities as a seamstress making Dolls and Teddy Bears. She also loved the games of Bingo and Solitaire.
She is survived by her sister Maxine (William) Davis, of Charlotte, and her niece Cheryl Burns of Grand Ledge.
Graveside services for Miss Dillin were held Tuesday July 27.
