Annie "Penny" Abernathy died Monday. She was employed as a lab technician at Hillside Hospital for 32 years.
Visitation will begin at 11am Saturday at the Richland Creek Association Building. Services will follow during the noon hour and burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband Leroy Abernathy, mother Carrie Cross. She is survived by sisters, Carol Randolph, Deborah Huff and husband Reginald and brothers Raymond Cross and wife Patricia, William Cross and wife Ava and Robert Cross and wife Caulyne.
