Wife of Frank J. Aschenbrener. Mother of Frank R. and John J. Sr. Grandmother to John II, Mark Aschenbrenner, Joe, Jim, Dave, Steve and Kathy Aschenbrener. Grandma Bess was very hard working and loved the old Bohemian traditions! She loved to bake "Hoska" bread at the holidays to share with Family. Helped with many of the functions & dinners at our Holy Rosary Church in Plattsmouth. She worked as a seamstress for many of her youthful years.
Bess & her husband Frank are buried within her parent's family Sabatka lot. Came from a large family of eight and saw her sisters and their families often when she lived in South Omaha in 60's. One of her favorite pastimes was going to the horse-track and winning a few bucks. Bess lived in south Omaha while working there, she returned to Plattsmouth for the last years of her life and passed at Louisville Home for the Aging. MJA
