Legend says that he sailed on "The Fellowship", the phantom ship captained by George Lamburton that disappeared from New Haven c Jan 1646/7, and was never heard from again.
He wrote his will on Nov 24,1645. It was not proved until 1694, as it took his son John until that year to present the will for probate.
His first wife was unknown, and it is possible he had children by her. He married, second, about 1640, Rhoda Tinker as her second husband.
Children(by second marriage): John Taylor Jr and Thomas Taylor.
