Ruth Ethel Baker, 90, formerly of Hollidaysburg, died Weds., July 21, 2010 at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring. She was born in Altoona, to William Roy & Pearl A. (Miller) McGinnis. She married James Donald Baker, Sr. Jan. 1, 1942, in Winchester, Va., and he died Feb. 25, 1995. Survived are 2 sons: William R., Sr. & wife, Brenda, Hollidaysburg and George Dilling & wife, Trish, Arlington, Texas; daughter, Patricia Louise Holsinger & husband, Donald, Hollidaysburg; 12 grandchildren; 18 gr. grandchildren; and 3 gr. gr. grandchildren. Predeceased by son, James Donald Jr. and wife, Connie. Ruth was a graduate of Altoona High School. She was a kitchen helper at Frankstown Elementary School and was a member of Reservoir Bible Church. Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. Interment, Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
