Benjamin Franklin Judd, 88, of Waynesboro passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 at Kings Daughters Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born July 27, 1921 in Luray, Virginia he was the son of the late Byrd and Eva Judd.

Mr. Judd was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served honorably during WWII. He was a member of First Christian Church. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, fishing, woodworking and inventing things.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Gladys Judd; sister, Mary Nimo; brother, Johnny Judd.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Shifflett Mayse and Donna Judd; son, Larry Judd; brothers, Mark T. and Albert Joseph Judd; grandchildren, Chris Cyrus, Heather Shifflett, Deborah Stevens, William Wilt and Jeff Nash; great-grandchildren, Kamryn Cyrus, Jacob Stevens and Sierra Stevens; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Roy White officiating.
