SOUTH BEND - Evelyn M. Zakrzewski, 83, of St. Paul's Retirement Community, passed away on Thursday, March 5, in the Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Miss Zakrzewski was born on Dec. 3, 1914, in South Bend, Ind., and was a lifelong resident. She retired in 1977 as a bookkeeper with the Borden's Ice Cream Company, South Bend. Miss Zakrzewski was a member of the M.R. Falconettes Nest 200.
She is survived by four sisters, Sylvia Trace, Gertrude Fodroczi and Loretta Bilinski, all of South Bend, and Helen Rafalski of Kissimmee, Fla.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther and Rita Zakrzewski.
