Note: Discrepancy in Death year (TX DC states 1830; headstone states 1838; both state 1917 as death year correctly).

s/o Carl Frederick Caesar Eckhardt (1806-1868) and Louisa C Fisher (1811-1895) * (both parents died in Yorktown, Tx and are buried in Westside Cemetery also)

Wilhelm (William) married Mary E. C. Gohmert on August 14, 1867 in De Witt County, Texas. Mary was informant on his Texas Death Certificate and states he was born in 1930 and over 87 years old - so either she was wrong or the headstone was printed with the wrong birth year (1838 v 1830).
