James M. ''Jimmy'' Linson, 50, of Metropolis, died Friday, July 16, 2010.
A memorial service will be held at 6pm Thursday at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis with
John LaVeau and Rev. Trad York officiating.
Mr Linson was a member of the IBEW Local 720 of West Frankfort.
Survivors include his wife, Angie Linson; two sons, Jeremiah and Joshua Linson of Metropolis;
one stepson, Jared E Cook of Metropolis; and his stepmother, Annie Linson of Metropolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. and Ethel Wilson Linson.
Visitation will be held from 4pm until the service hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
