Mrs. Willie Mae Blaine died at her home two miles southeast of Drew at 8:40 Sunday morning June 8, after an illness of about 16 months. Mrs. Blaine was a member of the Baptist Church and had lived near Drew for the past 12 years. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Guy Reedy officiating, assisted by the Rev. Riley, both of Ruleville with burial following in the Drew City Cemetery. She leaves her husband C.W. Blaine of Drew; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie B. Downs of Doddsville, Mrs. Maggie Sue James of Drew, Mrs. Lottie Mae Doss of Drew; a son James M. Blaine of Ruleville; three brothers, Cleveland Goff of Louisville, Byron Goff of Pascagoula and D. L. Goff of Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. Pinkey Pearson of Louisville and Mrs. Estelle Reynolds of Ruleville. Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements .
