MRS. NANCY PARCELL IS DEAD

Death at Fulton Followed Years of Trouble - Burial Today

Mrs. Nancy Parcell, widow of H.D. Parcell, who lost his life years ago, in July 1907, by being cut by a mowing machine on his farm southwest of here, died Tuesday night, Jan 20, 1948, at Fulton, Missouri, where she had been in the state hospital thirty-two years. She was 78 years old. Mr. Parcell was a brother of the late Charles and Callie Parcell of Edina.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Hudson Funeral Home and burial will be in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.

She was the mother of Claude and Clyde Parcell on the home place and Clara, Mrs. Thomas Lockett of La Grange, Mo., and Mary, Mrs. Cecil Wharton, of near Leonard who are the surviving children. Three sons are dead; Ernie who died in infancy and Carl who died as a young man a year after the death of his father, and Paul who died in 1915 at the age of 16. There are 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A daughter of Solomon and Mary Rawley Conder, Miss Nancy A. Conder was married to Hanson Dill Parcell Aug 30, 1885. She was born Aug 28, 1869 and united with the Christian Church at an early age.
