Lillian M. Bond, 85, of Goodlettsville, died on July 6, 2007.
Mrs. Bond served as a volunteer for 16 years at Tennessee Christian Medical Center.
Mrs. Bond was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bond; brothers, Kenneth, Harold and Richard Veit; sister, Elizabeth Veit; and grandson, Christopher Paul Morgan.
Mrs. Bond is survived by her daughters, Judy (and husband Dick) Hitch and Karen (and husband Joel) Matchak; sons, Gregg (and wife Melody) Bond and Jeff (and wife Wanda) Bond; grandchildren, Michael (and wife Christy) Hitch, Richard (and wife Sonia) Hitch, Jennifer (and husband Ben) Bond, Christopher (and wife Lorraine) Bond, Andrea (and husband David) Jacquin and Beth (and husband Brent) Morgan; great-grandchildren, Wilson, Rachel, Ryan, Allison and Morgan Hitch and Abigail Rose Jacquin; and sister, Mildred Baylis.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, July 9, from the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with the Rev. Virginia Kessen officiating.
Entombment followed at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens Chapel of Memories Mausoleum. Grandsons served as active pallbearers. Volunteers from Tennessee Christian Medical Center acted as honorary pallbearers.
The Bond family received friends on Sunday at the Hendersonville Funeral Home.
