Craig was born the son of Harold Lloyd Freeman and Jerline Pierce Freeman. Craig was a loving son, brother, father, & uncle. He could always bring a smile with his quick wit & humor. He enjoyed finding Bible study books to add to his collection, and discussing and reading God's word. He usually had a cup of coffee, whether at the local café, sitting at home or driving down the road. Last week he and Lloyd got together for another battle on opposites sides of a chessboard and for the first time Craig came out on top, he was so pleased with himself and couldn't wait to tell it. He loved life and he deeply loved his family. Craig, along with his sister, Sheila, was raised in Gospel Assemble Church in Houston, Texas, where he played a trombone in the church band.
Craig is survived by his Son: Lloyd Freeman of Nacogdoches, TX., mother: Jerline Freeman Nilson, Step-father: Fred Nilson, Sr. of Nacogdoches, TX., Sister & brother-in-law: Sheila {Freeman} & Carl Johnson of Trinity,TX., Nephews; Dustin Johnson of Trinity and Cody Johnson of New Waverly.
