Mrs. Emma Catherine Adams, wife of Henry Adams, died at her home in Centennial at 4:50 o'clock Friday morning after several weeks' illness. She was aged 55 years and two months. She was a daughter of the late David and Margaret Lawrence and was married to Mr. Adams, December 28, 1896. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Mrs. G. M. Little, Mrs. M. J. Smith, Mary C. Adams, Edward E. Adams, Savilla Adams, Richard Adams and Robert H. Adams, all of Centennial and vicinity, and Francis J. Adams, York. Funeral services Monday with requiem mass at Conewago Chapel at 9 a.m., the Rev. J. F. O'Donnell officiating. Burial in Conewago cemetery.
