Winifred Gray George, 85, passed away peacefully July 10, 2010, at Tranquility Hospice, Atlanta. A native of Georgetown, Al., she was preceded in death by her brother, Homer Lee George. She is survived by nieces Mary Wynn Pencek and husband Tom of Woodstock, Ga., Candace Burden of Ellijay, Ga., nephews David George of Ellijay, Ga., Havard George and wife Beth, of Roswell, Ga., and great nephew David Lee George. No services are planned. Burial at Georgetown Cemetery will be at a later date. Arrangements by SouthCare Cremation Society and Memorial Centers in Marietta 770-420-5557.
