Rebecca Parzetta Teague was born June 20, 1867 in Kentucky Town, Texas (Grayson County) daughter of Franklin Caldwell Teague (1825-1911) and Malinda Louise Newton (1832-1892). Rebecca was one of 11 children born to this couple.

The 1870 Federal Census for Precinct 4, Texas (Grayson County) shows Parzetta Teague, age 4, born in Texas; living with her father, Franklin Teague, a farmer, age 46, born in North Carolina; and her mother, Malinda, age 39, born in Tennessee. Also living in the household were Rebecca's siblings: Rachel Teague, age 18; Sarah Teague, age 15; Isaac Teague, age 13; John Teague, age 13; Franklin Teague, age 9; Malinda Teague, age 6; and Texanna Teague, age 9 months; all born in Texas.

On February 4, 1885, Rebecca married Robert Walter Jarboe who was born November 10, 1859 in Grayson County, Texas, son of James Madison Jarboe (1836-1906) and Amanda Victoria Shreve (1838-1916).

Amanda, Robert, and their children bought a farm and moved to Lexington, Oklahoma (Cleveland County). They came to Oklahoma between 1890 and 1892, during the time of the land rush so may have acquired their farm through that process.

The 1900 Federal Census for Lexington, Oklahoma (Cleveland County) shows Rebecca Jarboe, age 32, born June 1867 in Texas; and her husband, Robert W. Jarboe, a farmer, age 40, born November 1859 in Texas. Living with them were six children, Muriel Jarboe, age 16, born December 1883 in Texas; Molly Jarboe, age 14, born October 1885 in Texas; Thomas Jarboe, age 12, born November 1887 in Texas; Hollis Jarboe, age 10, born February 1890 in Texas; Carl Jarboe, age 7, born June 1892 in Oklahoma; and Ruth Jarboe, age 1, born November 1898 in Oklahoma. One child, Florence Jarboe, (1894-1895), had died.

The 1910 Federal Census for Lexington, Oklahoma (Cleveland County) showed that the family was still living on their farm, mortgage free, and that they had three more children. Rebecca Jarboe, age 43, born in Texas; and her husband, Robert W. Jarboe, age 50, born in Texas; had four children living in the household: Hollis Jarboe, age 19, born in Texas; Carl Jarboe, age 17, born in Oklahoma; Edith Jarboe, age 8, born in Oklahoma; and Jessie L. Jarboe, age 5, born in Oklahoma.

The family remained on the farm in Lexington through 1930. The 1930 Federal Census for Lexington, Oklahoma (Cleveland County) showed Rebecca Jarboe, age 62, born in Texas; and her husband, R. W. Jarboe, age 70, a farmer, born in Texas. Living with them was their married daughter, Edith Jarboe Bryant, age 27, born in Oklahoma; and her husband, Ernest Bryant, a kerosene salesman, age 29, born in Oklahoma; and their two children: Ernest E. Bryant, age 3 years 3 months; and Jessie R. Bryant, age 1; both born in Oklahoma.

Rebecca died July 30, 1930 in Lexington, Oklahoma (Cleveland County) and was buried there in the Lexington Cemetery. Robert died May 14, 1934 in Lexington and was buried in the Lexington Cemetery beside his wife.
