Agnes L. (Plaisted) Aimola, age 82, of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully, Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Weymouth Healthcare Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Breckenridge, MN, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a graduate of Quincy High School. She has lived in Weymouth for five years, previously in Quincy for most of her life. Mrs. Aimola was employed as a bookkeeper for the former Woodward Springs Company in Quincy for ten years and later with Johnson Motor Parts in Quincy for several years. She has been retired many years. She was a longtime parishioner of Saint Marys Parish in West Quincy and also an active member of Saint Marys Senior Citizens Group. Agnes enjoyed and was devoted to her family. Beloved wife of the late Alfred M. Freddy Aimola. Devoted mother of Gail M. Mattulina and her husband Richard of Quincy, Alfred B. Aimola and his wife Joanne of Wellesley, David D. Aimola and his wife Wendy of Norwood. Loving grandmother of Tracy, Amy, Catherine and Stephen. Great-grandmother of Alyssa, Brianna and Calleigh. Also grandmother of the late Richard A. Mattulina. Sister of Robert E. Plaisted of FL and the late Louis Plaisted. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Saturday, July 17 at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Marys Church, 95 Crescent Street, West Quincy at 10 oclock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 | 7 p.m. Interment Saint Marys Cemetery, West Quincy.
