Eric was born at Placentia Linda Hospital in Placentia, Ca, on the evening of Dec. 22, 1987, to Holly L. Andrews (Fallon) (b. 17 SEP 1964 - ) and Leslie Howard Andrews (3 JUL 1961-15 JAN 2018). Eric's first home was in Fullerton, CA. Mom (Holly) and Dad (Les) took him home from the hospital on Christmas Eve in a large Christmas stocking that the nurses at the hospital had made for the holiday.
Eric lived in Orange, Santa Cruz, and Riverside Counties in California with his mother after his mother and father divorced when he was only two years old. Eric was living with his mom in Temecula, CA, at the time of his passing. Les lived nearby in Riverside, CA, and saw Eric often.
He attended Chemawa Middle School and Arlington High School in Riverside, CA. He was in the 12th grade when he was killed. Eric had just turned 18 and was looking forward to being an "adult" when he died.
More than 300 family and friends attended Eric's Memorial Service in March 2006. His Funeral was in April at Loma Vista Memorial Park, Fullerton, Ca, with Eric's grandfather, Rev. Carroll F. Fallon presiding. It was a small private gathering.
"He loved cars and music, but most of all, he loved his family, friends, and girlfriend. He was in High School when he was shot two times in the chest and killed by an officer in Temecula, Ca. that his mother called to help him to get through the break-up with his one and only ever girlfriend of over three years. As Eric's mother, I will never understand why Eric was killed. Rest in sweet soft, uplifting love, my dear son. I love you!" written by Holly, Eric's mother.
