Chineenah Jo Baker
(November 18, 1921 - January 26, 2005)

Chineenah Jo was born in Ravia, Ok. to Dan & Dollie (Fagan) York. She grew up in this aea, graduated from Byng High School in 1939.

She had lived in several areas, including Yampa, Colorado before coming to Sulphur.

She was married to Vernon Wayne Baker on July 24, 1942 at Okla. City, OK. He preceded her in death in 1999.

She was a mother and a devoted Christian. She loved to sing and had sang at weddings & funerals. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors: Sons and Daughters-in-law: Dan & Dusty Lynn Baker, Jeffrey Wayne & Deborah Baker, 5 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren.

Services were Friday January 28 at 10:00AM at the First Baptist Church in Sulphur with interment in the Wolf Cemetery.
