CHARLOTTE: October 5, 2005 Erin was called home at the age of 23. She is survived by her parents, Douglas and [living]; brothers, [living] and [living]; grandmother, [living] Gaetano; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Erin was very involved with Camp Good Days and Special Times. She had a zest for life and she always had a smile on her face. She lived life to the fullest and never let her illness get her down. Erin was studying Human Services at Monroe Community College. She was involved with Lifespan, where she enjoyed projects with seniors. She enjoyed working and being with the seniors. She had a special place in her heart for her family. They loved and enjoyed her very much and they believed that Erin accomplished more in 23 years than most people do with many more. She brought a smile to the face of everyone she met and she will be sadly missed.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Camp Good Days and Special Times or the Erin Leigh Brooks Scholarship Fund, C/O MCC Foundation in Erin's Memory.
