Dalton was born July 3, 1992 in West Valley City to his beloved parents.
He kept a positive outlook throughout his trial with cancer over the last nine months. He made sure that he graduated from high school, walked with his senior class, and attended his senior prom. Dalton had a great love of sports and the outdoors. He enjoyed playing basketball and going camping with friends and family. He loved music and even taught himself how to play the guitar and composed many of his own songs. Dalton enjoyed hanging out with his friends and the love of his life, Chelsea. He had a smile that would light up the room.
Dalton is survived by his mother, as well as his extended family including his aunts, uncles, cousins, and especially his Grandma Baba. He is preceded in death by his father, as well as his Grandpa Goff, his Grandpa and Gram Covington, and his Uncle Brent.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the same location.
