Bethesda- Mrs. Amy Christena Stewart, 87, former Centerville and Barnesville resident, died Tuesday night (Dec. 28) in a Cambridge hospital after a long illness.
She was the widow of Dr. A. T. Stewart and was a member of Centerville Christian Church.
Born at Hunter, Jan. 21, 1878, she was a daughter of Lucephas and Frances Sue Wilson Moore.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Opal Steele of Centerville and Miss Ruth Stewart of Columbus, a brother, Hollice of St. Clairsville, four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon Thursday at Kelly Kemp Funeral Home here where private services will be held Friday. Rev. (unreadable) will officiate and burial will be in Beallsville Cemetery.
