Funeral services for Mrs. LeRoy H. (Grace) Pepper, 56, of 1020 Country Club Road, Lake Zurich, were held at 1:30 pm Saturday at St. Peter United Church of Christ, Lake Zurich.

The Rev. Dean Plassmann officiated at the rites and burial was in the Fairfield-English cemetery, Lake Zurich.

Mrs. Pepper died Wednesday of last week at St. Therese hospital, Waukegan, where she was admitted the day before. Although she suffered from a heart ailment, her death was unexpected.

Grace Schwemm was born May 26, 1909 at Mayfair, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Schwemm. The family resided in Barrington for many years. Her marriage to Mr. Pepper on December 1928, took place at St. Peter Church.

She was a member of St. Peter's church and belonged to the Woman's Guild of the church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Audrey Glauner of Lake Zurich, a son LeRoy A. Pepper, at home; three grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters. Harold Schwemm of Lake Zurich, Kenneth of Fox River Grove, Clifford of Barrington, Mrs. Julian Dvorak of Cary, and Mrs. Dorothy Willard of Barrington.
