Reagan Arvol Smith, 59, died July 10, 2010 at his home, after a long battle with heart disease. Reagan was born March 23, 1951 in Austin, Texas. He was the oldest of two children.
Reagan graduated from Del Valle High School in 1969. In 1979 he married Dorothy Jeanette Anderson of Temple, Texas. He worked as a used car wholesaler until his death.
Reagan is survived by his wife Dorothy Smith; and 4 daughters, Denise Darlene Cole, Lisa Marie Smith, Brandy Lashawn Cole, Deborah Lavelle Smith; 1 son Reagan Arvol Smith Jr. (Bubba); 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Glen Smith of Austin, Texas; a nephew Casey Smith and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arvol and Ivy Smith of Austin.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd, Taylor, Texas, followed by interment at Granger Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations sent to "Denise Morris" at 2956 Donnell Drive, Round Rock, TX 78664.
