Sarah Edwards Taken By Death
Made Her Home In Le Mars At Different Times
Mrs. Sarah Edwards, of Kansas City, 62, employed as housekeeper at the Fred Hirt home, Fifth Street SE., died Friday at the Zimmerman Memorial home from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Edwards lived in Le Mars for some time fifteen years ago and at another time six years ago. She came back to Le Mars in February of this year. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Sellwood Hanford, of Glenwood, Iowa, a son living at McGregor, (Charles Adams)Iowa, and a son, (Malen Sellwood) living at Ottumwa, Iowa. The funeral was held Monday morning at St. Joseph church, and interment made in the city cemetery.
According to her death certificate, she was buried on August 16, 1937 in the City Cemetery in Le Mars. Also, her death certificate states that she was
divorced.
