Jack and Sarah had seven known children: Melda E., born April 24, 1898; Stella Ida, born April 13, 1901; Eligah Lawrence, born December 3, 1903; Flora Kathryn, born December 19, 1905; Maggie Ethel, born March 3, 1907; Dessie Lee, born August 10, 1909; and Ella Louise, born July 9, 1912.
