Trevor Alves, age 20, of Dartmouth, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 1, 2010 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born in New Bedford, he was a son of Alan and Karen (Souza) Alves of Dartmouth.

He was a graduate of Dartmouth High School, class of 2008 and a student at Johnson and Wales University majoring in Marketing.

Surviving in addition to his parents is a b rother, Justin Alves of Dartmouth; paternal grandparents, Jose and Ilda Alves of Dartmouth; maternal grandfather, Arthur Plante of Fall River; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the grandson of the late Virginia Plante.

His Funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 9am from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rdl, Dartmouth followed by a Funeral Mass at 10am in St. Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Rd., Dartmouth. Visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ChildFund International, 2921 Emerywood Parkway, Richmond, VA 23294. Burial will be in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
