Jesse A. Gephart, 70 Jesse A. Gephart, 70, of Bluffton, died at 6:27 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Mr. Gephart was an employee of the Meshberger stone quarry for more than 40 years. He was born Aug. 13, 1939, in Poneto, to Marion L. Gephart and Mary E. Murray Gephart. He married Alice F. Hiester in Bluffton on Oct. 6, 1959; his wife survives in Bluffton. Survivors include a son, Phillip K. Gephart (friend, Lura Ragen) of Dunkirk; three daughters, Sherry (Tom) Kizer of Bluffton, Beth (Arthur) Reimer of Montpelier, and Anna Gephart of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; two sisters, June Shaw of Huntington and Ilene (Gerald "Bud") Chapman of Portland; and three brothers, Jerry Gephart of Warren, Daniel Gephart of Grabill, and James Gephart of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael L. Gephart; a sister, Elaine Gephart; and four brothers, Raymond Gephart, Robert Gephart, Richard Gephart, and William Gephart. Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Chad Clark officiating.
