Frank A. Rowlett was born in Madison County, Nebraska on February 26, 1886
to Mary and Edwin Rowlett. He left this life on Monday, September 14, 1964
at the Litzenberg Memorial Hospital in Central City at the age of 78 years,
6 months and 12 days.
Mr. Rowlett grew to manhood in the Madison community and on June 20, 1912
was united in marriage to Rosa Ray. After they were married they made their
home on a farm near O'Neill, later they moved to Madison county and then to
Pierce county. In 1929 they moved to Palmer where Mr. Rowlett was engaged
in the trucking business for many years, later he was employed at the
Farmers Elevator until ill health forced his retirement in 1949.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Lenora A. Booher of
Cheyenne, Wyo., Mrs. Ruby R. Schlueter and Mrs. Helen I. Blauhorn, both of
Palmer; two sons, Frank of Oxnard, Calif., and Robert of Thorton, Colo; four
sisters, Mrs. Mary Pettitt of Spearman, Texas, Mrs. Mattie Brock of Hartford
City, Ind., Mrs. Bertha Lowman of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Ida Barrett of
Omaha; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter and 1 son.
