Marjorie E. Lentz was born in Republic, WA on Oct. 11, 1927 to parents, Joseph & Effie Pruitt Cheyney. She died on Sunday July 4, 2010 at the Regency Hermiston Nursing Center at the age of 82 years. Marjorie was a longtime resident of Hermiston. She moved to Hermiston in the early 1970's & lived here till 1985 when she moved to Bremerton, WA after the passing of her husband Solomon Lentz where she lived until 2006. She returned to Hermiston to live out the remainder of her years with her family.
Marjorie was a volunteer grandparent in Bremerton, WA for the mentally challenged for several years.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Solomon Lentz; daughter, Jody;
sons, David & Delbert.
She is survived by a son, Daniel E. Lentz & daughter-in-law Marcia Lentz of Hermiston, OR; 2 granddaughters, Brandy Guardado, of Stanfield; Stephanie Flockhart of Hermiston; 4 great grandchildren, Belicia Guardado, Camille Stokes of Stanfield, Tyler Tate and Alaina Davis of Hermiston.
Family Services will be held at the Lentz Cemetery near Marlin, Washington.
Disposition was by cremation.
