Quinter -- Bernard Lang, 61, died Monday, March 2, at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Denver. He was born Feb. 21, 1920 at Victoria, the son of Bernard and Catherine (Dreiling) Lang.

He married Philomene Pfannenstiel June 11, 1946 at Hays; she survives.

He was employed as a plumbing and heating maintenance engineer and technician.

Survivors include his wife, of the home in Quinter; four sons, Derrell, Aurora, Colo., Kenneth, Colby, Gary, Thornton, Colo.; and Randy, Quinter; two daughters, Charlene Wittman, Quinter, Coleen Pickett, Las Vegas, Nev.; three brothers, Ray and Joe, both of Victoria, and Tony, Lenora; two sisters, Mary Giebler, Wichita, and Theresa Dreiling Dreiling, Victoria; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, March 6, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Park; burial in the Sarcred Heart Cemetery.
