Mrs. Newel (Aileen M. Watson) Braden, 78, of Maroa died 1:40 a.m. Tuesday (July 5, 1988) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Maroa Christian Church with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Herrington-Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, and one hour before services in the church. Burial will be in Texas Township Cemetery, Clinton.
Mrs. Braden was born in Kenney, daughter of William Lee and Sylvia Watson. She was a member of Maroa Christian Church. She married Newel Braden in 1929. He died in 1978.
Surviving are her son, Donald of Maroa; daughter, Luann Query of Maroa; two grandchildren.
One son, Richard and one brother preceded her in death.
