Jesse Burnworth, aged 86 years, died at his home in Confluence, Sunday, February 25, 1923, following an illness of several weeks. The deceased was married twice, and four of the six children born to the first union and three of the five of the second union survive. His second wife also is living together with 62 grandchildren and 52 great grandchildren. Among the children are Enoch Burnworth of Perryopolis; Liston Burnworth of Fairmont, West Virginia; and Mrs E. S. Thomas of Everson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at Maple Summit with Rev. Phillip Yates, officiating.
