Ray Cox, 83, of Fredonia, died this morning at St. Margaret's Mercy Hospital.
He was born Dec. 2, 1892, in McPherson County, Kansas, a son of W.W. and Mary (McFarren) Cox.
He was a retired construction engineer and had been a member of the American Legion for over 50 years.
Survivors are one brother, George Cox of Fredonia; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Cox, Williams, Ariz., Mrs. Winnie Knoles, Fredonia; Mrs. Josephine Thompson, Fredonia.
Services will be Wednesday, Mar. 3, at 2:30 p.m. in the Knickerbocker-Timmons Chapel with the Rev. Carl Heien of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery.
