Obituary:Clinton Herald--Funeral services for Hattie "Harriet B" Losby, 86, of Prospect Heights, IL were held Oct. 3. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Chicago. She died Thursday, September 28, 1995.
She was born Feb. 28, 1909, in Preston, to Adolph and Ada Behrens of Preston. She married Harold Losby, Sr. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Losby and her husband owned and operated Losby Pharmacy for 42 years. She later worked as a Registered Nurse at Bethany Methodist Hospital until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of Lutheran Church of St. Philip, a member of NARD and a member of the Ravenswood Hospital Women's Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Harold Jr. of Orange Park, FL; a daughter Joan [Mrs. Larry] Schrambeck, of Mt. Prospect, IL; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Muriel [Mrs. Jerry] Huebner of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
