NEW YORK, Jan 6 — Miss Clara Boal the 19-year-old granddaughter of Colonel William F. Cody (Buffalo Bill) was married to Franklin Hamilton Benn of London yesterday at 11 o'clock in Trinity Chapel. They were married by the Rev. William H. Vibbert, vicar of the chapel,

Colonel Cody came to New York from the West Saturday to give his granddaughter away. The wedding party was limited to relatives and a few friends of the pair.

Mrs. Benn has lived abroad a number of years and was educated in France, Germany and England. Mr. Benn lives at Queen Anne Mansions, in London, and is partner in a large firm of lumber shippers. They sailed for Hamburg today at 1 o clock on the Kaiserin Auguste Victoria and after a tour on the continent will make their home In London.

Buffalo Bill Relative Dies
CODY, Wyo.—Word has been received in Cody Monday that the eldest of Col. William F. (Buffalo Bill) Cody's grandchildren died Wednesday.

Mrs. Frank Hamilton Benn, the former Arta Clara Boal, died at her home, the Villa Arta, in Rapallo, Italy. The death of the 70-year-old was attributed to a heart attack.

Mrs. Benn's mother was Arta Lucille Cody, eldest of Buffalo Bill's four children. Her father was Horton S. Boal of Chicago. The Boals lived for several years in North Platte, Nebr., and later owned a ranch near Birney.

Following Mrs. Boal's death the family lived briefly in Billings.

Mrs. Benn, married to a Britisher, lived from 1910 until a few years ago in London, visiting the United States infrequently.

She moved to Rapallo after the death of her husband.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter in Great Britain, and several grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Maj. William Cody Boal, of North Platte, and several cousins including Mrs. Mary Jester Allen and Fred H. Garlow of Cody.
