Bell Brumbalow Dies March 24
Mrs. Bell Burmabalow, 86, of Bogata died Thursday, March 24 at Red River Haven Nursing Home.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26 at the Bogata Assembly of God Church with Ethel Elrod and the Rev. Bill Pirtle officiating. Bogata Funeral made burial in Bogata Cemetery.
Mrs. Brumbalow was born 12 December 1901 in Coryell County, a daughter of Will and Ellen Key Gurley. She married Albert Brumbalow in 1922 in Gatesville. He died in 1964.
Surviving are three sons, Allen Brumbalow, Johnny Brumbalow and Floyd Brumbalow all of Bogata; two daughters Betty Baker of Bogata and Evelyn Lawson of Dallas; two brothers, Tom Gurley of Bogata and Allen Gurley of Dallas; 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Willie Bell Brumbalow in 1929 and Myrtle Jackson in 1978.
Bearers were Wayne Kelly, Bill Lawson, Jessie Gray, Neil Rozell, M. L. Brown and Sam Russell.
