Sadie A. Thomas
GLEN ROCK - Sadie A. (Brenneman) Thomas, 81, of Hanover Hall, formerly of Glen Rock RD 3, died Sunday evening at Hanover General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Walter G. Thomas.
The service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Jerusalem (Fissel's) Church, Glen Rock RD 3. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, and 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Thomas was born in Shrewsbury Township. She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Eliza (Bortner) Brenneman.
She was a 60-year member of Jerusalem (Fissel's) United Church of Christ Congregation. She lived in the Freeland, Md. area before moving to Hanover Hall three weeks ago.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by two daughters, Maretta Baer of Freeland, Md., and Joyce Werner of Hanover; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey Brenneman of Freeland, Md., and Stewart Brenneman of Florida; and two sisters, Eva Smith of New Freedom RD 1, and Margaret Fisher of Glen Rock RD 3.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. J. Richard Bishop.
