Mr. Childs is survived by his wife, Faye Moore Childs; daughters Cora Sue Lambert and Janice Ivy; sons, David Childs and Bruce Childs; a brother, Willie Childs; a sister, Irene Cox; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
